About Us

Cub Scout Pack 255 is an active Family Oriented community of dedicated volunteers who assist children in beginning their scouting journey. We serve the Northeast Colorado Springs and Black Forest area. Cub Scouts is a fun, hands-on learning and achievement-based activity with a plethora of events and adventures available including exploring the great outdoors, meeting new friends, and discovering new hobbies. Scouting offers endless possibilities for fun and personal growth that puts kids at the center of learning, preparing them for today and for life and encouraging everyone to "Do Your Best!".

Our pack is chartered by Grand Peak Academy. This is our meeting place for most den and pack meetings. Den meetings occur every Tuesday that school is in session. We meet as a pack once a month during the school year for Pack Celebrations. These are generally on Tuesdays at Grand Peak as well.




Example Activities

Pinewood Derby

Experience the excitement of the highly anticipated Pinewood Derby event, where creativity and unique designs collide to showcase the ultimate race cars. Scouts eagerly build, decorate, and race their cars for a chance to claim the coveted checkered flag. Join in on the fun and witness the thrill of the race!

Community Service

Learning about community and helping others is just as important as having fun. In Cub Scouts, we emphasize the importance of selflessness and working towards the betterment of others.

Rain Gutter Regatta

Cub scouts have the opportunity to construct and compete in pontoon boat races which navigate through "rain gutters". This is just one of the exciting activities they can enjoy throughout the school year.
